Annual Charity Day
April 2019
Back at the beginning of 2018, we opened our newer bigger studio at the Smithfield Centre and to celebrate we held a big Charity Open Day Check out those pictures here. We had such a good time and were able to raise an awesome amount of cash for some great charities we decided to make it an annual event. So here we are with our 1st Annual charity Day, which will be held in April each year.
This year we had charity tattoos designed by our artists, Bex Heath, and Mick Emery, glitter tattoos by Hollie May and her Children Lottie & Dexter, cakes by our good friend Alex and as our friend Darth Vader was away on official Imperial duties he sent his two trusted Stormtroopers to head up uptown with Matt, Lottie and Nate, to help collect the Imperial tax, which was kindly donated to our charity pot.
This year we were proud to support three awesome local charities once again the Leek & District Foodbank who we also collected over 50kg of food for. Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and our friend's son Nate who is raising money for Birmingham's Children Hospital in the name of his friend Toby who sadly passed away at the beginning of the year. Please so Check out Nate on social media and learn more about the 12 challenges he is undertaking this year. Facebook Nate's 12 in 12 and Instagram @nates12in12
We were also able to add some money into our friend Alex's collection pot for the charity Refuge, who he has been running marathons to help raises money and awareness against domestic violence.
In the end, our final total raised was a massive £705, thank you to all that donated and supported our Annual Charity day 2019
