At the beginning of 2018, we moved studios from Fountain Street to the Smithfield Centre, as we were growing as a business, it was time.  Bex had become a full-time artist and we had a third artist Mick Emery joining us.  As those first few months were very hectic we held our open day on the first weekend in April, on the same weekend of the Totally Locally Leek Market, and we wanted to make it a little special. 

 

Introducing our Galactic Charity Open Day where we were able to support three charities Leek & District Foodbank, Moorlands Dog Rescue and The Beatrice Charity.  We held a flash day with all the proceeds been split between the charities, we collected food for the Foodbank and Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers helped us collect the imperial tax from all the Market traders and goers, they also kindly donated this to our charity pot. We raised a fantastic £690 pounds and collected nearly 50kg or food.
